Fly to Barcelona Airport

Take train to Vilafranca del Penedes ( 6€ return)

The train is super cheap (a few Euros) and not too difficult. The ride is 77 or 93 minutes. Taxis are more direct at 40 minutes.

Trains:  For the map enthusiasts, we are on the R4 Train 

• The train runs every half hour on the :08 and :38 
  
• (except no train at 21:38, which is inconvenient for us). 
  
• You have to change once, yet it is very cheap. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the station to the hotel.

Input:

Terminal 1: (Terminal 2 is easier.)

• If you end up in Terminal 1, you can take the New Metro to the Train station. It leaves every 8 minutes and it is a 6 minute ride.
  
• There is also a free bus, yet this takes you on a big tour of the airport: 6-15 minutes depending on the direction and traffic. The bus is faster on arrival at BCA than on departure.
  

Last pure public transport option of the night: 22:50 from Terminal 2C: 

L'Hospitalet de Llobregat Station:

• There are more train options from this station. Last train from this station is 23:25.
  
• It is possible to take a taxi from all terminals to L'Hospitalet de Llobregat Station. This is 11-12 km and 12-13 minutes depending on the terminal with no traffic. A 4 person car costs 36€.
